BACE Adopt-a-Family 2025

‘Tis the season and the Black American Comptroller Employee Association (BACE) had been in the giving spirit. Following the Coats for Kids Drive, BACE adopted a Family to support in Texas. BACE is a long-lived organization within the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, and has long-supported Community Outreach through various fundraisers and drives.

The 2025 marked a special for BACE, for new legislation allowed for organizations similar to BACE within the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts to have, even more of a special impact in Texas communities. For the 2025 BACE Board voted to adopt their own Texas family for the Holiday Season, and the family consisted of a Mother and five children in Killeen, Texas.

Fort Cavazos, formerly known as Fort Hood, and an United States Army base, has the greatest impact in Killeen, Texas; thus, a very special Merry Christmas from the Black American Comptroller Employee Association to our US Army Veterans and Families of Killeen, Texas.
