BACE comprises current and former employees of the Texas Comptroller’s Office.  BACE reflects the full spectrum of Comptroller job responsibilities: executive, management, administrative, and service.

BACE displays a rich legacy of goodwill and service on an ongoing basis. The organization consistently supports Texas youth through educational projects, economic development events, and community support.

BACE members come together to celebrate and serve our community through hosting events, participating in coat or school supply drives, providing scholarships for high school seniors and undergraduate students, and others! Check out some photos and past events we’re participated in.

Each year BACE holds fundraisers to support the BACE scholarship fund. Fundraiser events may change each year, but participation by BACE members helps the scholarship fund continue to grow year after year!

  • The BACE Educational Scholarship Award recognizes merit in academics, leadership, and the potential for success in special talent areas such as athletics and the arts, regardless of race or ethnicity. BACE awards scholarships every year in June.
