The BACE Back to School Drive was extravagant! BACE received support from BACE members, other Comptroller Employees, and greatly appreciates all who donated. BACE was able to fill twelve boxes with school supplies and two boxes with backpacks. The fourteen total boxes were to be delivered to Sanchez Elementary located just south east of the capitol complex. President Bobbie Thomas contacted Sanchez Elementary for the delivery and disclosed the size of the donation, and received an overwhelming response – for the donation was too large for storage. Then President Thomas was put in contact with Campbell Elementary located just east of the capitol complex, who were also able to benefit from the great donation.
