Every year the Black American Comptroller Employee Association (BACE) board and members come together to support Breast Cancer Awareness. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and BACE supports by hosting it’s “Pink Party”. The BACE Pink Party is day dedicated to fun, freebies, and Breast Cancer Awareness. The BACE Pink Party took place Wednesday October 15, 2025 in the 1st Floor Breezeway of the Lyndon B. Johnson Building located at 111 E. 17th Street, 78701. Pink Party participants were able to: enjoy pink goodies and giveaways, take pink party selfies, sign up to join BACE in the Susan G. Komen Walk, donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, enter gift bag drawing if a breast cancer survivor, and shake hands with surprise special guest – the standing Texas State Comptroller, Kelly Hancock. BACE honors all breast cancer survivors, and greatly appreciates all attendees and Comptroller Kelly Hancock for stopping by.
