BACE partnered with Austin ARCH to collect shoe donations for the less fortunate. The collection efforts of BACE members and Comptroller of Public Accounts employees resulted in a total of 34 boxes of shoe donations. The boxes together made up for over 300 pairs of shoes! The immaculate size of the donation allowed for donations of 19 boxes of men’s shoes to the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH) located at 500 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78701, and 15 boxes of women’s shoes to the Austin Shelter for Women and Children located at 4613 Tannehill Ln Bldg 3, Austin, TX 78721. BACE gives special thanks to everyone who helped make the Fit to Foot Shoe Drive 2025 a huge success.
