Black American Comptroller Employees Association
BACE comprises current and former employees of the Texas Comptroller’s Office. BACE reflects the full spectrum of Comptroller job responsibilities: executive, management, administrative, and service.
Throughout the years BACE has displayed a rich legacy of goodwill and service. The organization has consistently supported Texas youth through educational projects, economic development events, and community support.

Cool Things We Do
BACE members come together to celebrate and serve our community through hosting events, participating in coat or school supply drives, providing scholarships for high school seniors and undergraduate students, and others! Check out some photos and past events we’re participated in.

Fundraisers
Each year BACE holds fundraisers to support the BACE scholarship fund. Fundraiser events may change each year, but participation by BACE members helps the scholarship fund continue to grow year after year!
Scholarships
- The BACE Educational Scholarship Award recognizes merit in academics, leadership, and the potential for success in special talent areas such as athletics and the arts, regardless of race or ethnicity. BACE awards scholarships every year in June.
